Analysis of Music Video (Case Study)

Pixie Lott - What do you take me for?
Using the example of the Male Gaze, you instantly see Pixie Lott's - What Do You Take Me For? video from a straight males point of view. The dancers and Pixie are dressed in short shorts and Pixie is at the front, showing her to be more powerful and the dominant leader which links in well with the title of the song, as if to say 'she's boss'(TO BE FINISHED)

You Me At Six - Stay With Me
For my second video I have picked an Alternative Rock british band, You Me At Six - Stay With Me.This first establishing shot is setting the scene for the music video. I chose this song to take a look at as it's quite similar to the song we chose to do our music video on, although this song is more upbeat, it has the same kind of meaning..

This is my favourite music video that I have looked at, mostly because they are my favourite band but at how much this is similar to what I want my music video to be like, the lyrics of this song have a meaing
